Systems of management

Zespół Elektrociepłowni Wrocławskich KOGENERACJA S.A. is the provider of heat to the local market, and of electric power to the local and national markets. The modern and constantly modernised technological lines permit us to produce the thermal and electric power in cogeneration on the highest technological and economic level.

Our fundamental goal is to produce goods meeting all the requirements of our customers, and making sure that their production impacts the environment to a smallest degree that is constantly monitored by us. We make our products in the conditions that are safe for our employees. We’ve introduced the Integrated System of Management, Quality and Work Safety that complies with the norms PN-EN ISO 9001: 2001 and PN-EN ISO 14001: 2005 and PN- 18001:1991/ OHSAS 18001, giving our customers confidence and guarantee of meeting all their quality, environment and work safety requirements.

A clear confirmation of the effective implementation and constant improvement of the Integrated System of Management in KOGENERACJA S.A. is certificates awarded to us by the certifying institutions since 1998. Initially, the certificates were awarded by TÜV CERT – TÜV NORD, and currently, by accredited to Poland, PCBC – Polskie Centrum Badan i Certyfikacji. The certificates are awarded through a thorough testing (that takes several days) of the whole field of activities of the company by a team of independent auditors who supervise the development and improvement of the Integrated System of Management. Each departure from the requirements causes a suspension or cancellation of a given certificate.

On May 25, 2004, an audit of the system of environmental management was conducted by AFAQ, a French certifying firm. As a result KOGENERACJA S.A. was included in the EDF’s global environmental certificate.
