Policy of Quality, Environment and Work Safety of Zespół Elektrociepłowni Wrocławskich KOGENERACJA S.A.

KOGENERACJA S.A. is an EDF company producing electric power and heat in cogeneration process thanks to which it makes a fuller use of the chemical energy of fuels limiting this way the pollution of the environment. A basis of the business of the Company is a sustained development permitting it to achieve the satisfying profit with the care for its social surroundings and natural environment.

Through the professional stances of its employees KOGENERACJA S.A. wants to be perceived as a reliable company, deserving the trust of its customers and shareholders, and accepted by the local community. Having the adequate knowledge of the types and scale of threats to the natural and working environments the Company obliges to:

  • assure for its customers the provision of heat and electric power, maintaining their quality parameters, in a safe and economically effective way,
  • obey regulations in force, especially regulations concerning the work safety and environmental protection,
  • take actions aiming at a limitation of the harmful impact of the Company on the environment and prevention of any threats to it,
  • constantly limit the risks related to the threats identified in the production of electric and thermal power and prevention of accidents and occupational diseases,
  • conduct systematic inspections and reviews of the Integrated System of Management,
  • improve qualifications, professional skills and employee awareness, and provide an active support for all the initiatives concerning improvement of quality, work safety and environmental protection,
  • cooperate with all the interested parties, especially with the local authorities and associations,
  • meet the requirements of and constantly improve the Integrated System of Management in accordance with the following norms: PN-EN ISO 9001, PN-EN ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.

All the employees of KOGENERACJA S.A. aware of the contents of this Policy guarantee, by their actions, a care for the high quality of services they provide in the way that is safe for health and the environment, obliging to such behaviour also its guests and employees of the other firms working within its territory.

Aiming at the achievement of the goals included in this Policy, the Company obliges to assure the means that are necessary for their achievement.
