PGE Energia Ciepła, the PGE Group’s Company is the Polish largest producer of electricity and heat in cogeneration. PGE Energia Ciepła has about 25 percent share in the heat market from cogeneration, 14 heat and power generating plants (7.3 GWt of thermal power and 4.1. Gwe of electricity) and 538 km of heating networks. PGE Energia Ciepła produces heat in the largest Polish cities: Kraków, Gdańsk, Gdynia, Wrocław, Rzeszów, Lublin, Bydgoszcz and Kielce as well as in Toruń, Zielona Góra, Gorzów Wielkopolski, Zgierz and Siechnice, where PGE Energia Ciepła also has heating networks. PGE Energia Ciepła is also the owner of the system power station in Rybnik.
